Minx Pet Care is owned and operated by Nan Hernandez.

I have been a pet-sitter since 1997. I started part-time, and went full-time in 2012, with an ever-growing list of happy clients (most of them referrals from other happy clients). I will care for cats, dogs, reptiles, rodents, fish, birds, and various farm animals at your home. I have years of experience working as an assistant/kennel tech in several veterinary/boarding kennel facilities. I am certified in basic Pet First-Aid, Pet Massage, and Pet Nutrition. I believe in treating your pets as I do my own, like they are part of my family. My specialty is senior animals, especially cats. I have experience with many different types of animal medications, including giving subcutaneous fluids and insulin.

I offer basic drop-in visits (approximately 15 to 20 minutes), longer visits (approximately 30 to 45 minutes, suggested for needy dogs and older animals or pets with separation anxiety), and daily dog-walking. I AM MOSTLY TRYING TO LIMIT VISITS TO ONCE DAILY DURING THE WEEK, AND SOME SATURDAYS AT THIS TIME. **

My service area includes:
Maryland counties – all of Washington County, Western parts of Frederick County (Myersville)
Pennsylvania counties – southern and central, includes Franklin County (Waynesboro, Greencastle)

Other areas can be arranged, but my radius is under 15 miles from my home. Additional charges will be incurred for anything over.
